RECEPTIONISTS

Receptionists are important members of our team. They are committed to delivering excellent customer service, have great computer and business skills. Equally important, they love animals and enjoy interacting with clients. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, taking orders from our internet store, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Veterinary assistants are an important part of our veterinary team. They are the primary assistants in the exam room, educating clients about vaccines, diets, deworming, basic training, and preventative medicine and helping the doctor. They also assist the licensed technicians in taking radiographs, holding patients, monitoring, making the patients comfortable, walking the dogs, and feeding the pets. 

Veterinary Assistants are also responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work.
