About Us..
Our Goal is to Provide the Best Care for Your Best Friend!
We are excited to announce that we passed our AAHA evaluation with flying colors.
This was a full day evaluation that involved every aspect of our practice.
The entire staff spent about six months preparing for this day.
The preparations included: reviewing all our protocals, sprucing up the interior and exterior of the building, sending our X-rays and ultrasounds to be reviewed by board certified radiologists, and making sure every aspect of the practice was up to date so we can offer quality care to our patients.
Earlysville Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, behavioral, complimentary medicine, and dental care since 1982.

The relationship between people and their pets has changed dramatically over the last few decades. Pets enhance the lives of their owners with their constant presence and unconditional love. Owners often describe their pets as being confidants, best friends, partners or children. They help maintain the health and well being of their owners and can ease the burden of illness or loneliness. The relationships we share with our pets can be among the strongest and most important in our lives. We want every pet to become a valuable household member. To help with this, we offer a variety of services.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with referral practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, diagnostic ultrasound, behavior consultations, accupuncture, chinese herbs, a closely supervised hospitalization area, boarding facilities for cats, an agility area used by Golden Rule Dog Training, and outdoor walking areas for hospitalized dogs.
At the Earlysville Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.
